They mean different things. Keep off the grass. Keep quiet. 3. 初步掌握会话中出现的四会单词mean, danger, must, should, shouldn't, make和句型 What does it/ this/ that mean? It means... 4. 能听懂、会说和会读单词和词组 public, a sign, a cousin, always, a question, grass, a cage, quiet, touch, keep off, make noise. 三、教学重点: 能正确理解、掌握A部分会话,并能朗读和初步表演对话。 四、教学难点: 能比较流畅地朗读对话,并能在掌握对话的基础上运用本课所学语言描述公共标志。 五、教具准备: 1. 准备三个公共标志牌。 2. 准备本课会话的投影片及录音机和磁带。 3. 黑板上预先写好课题 Unit 1 Public signs。 六、教学过程: A Listen to a song - The signs in the park. B Free talk ---以Good morning! How are you? 等日常交际用语引 出师生间的自由交谈,在交流的过程中,教师将话题逐步引入本课教学内容:What day is it today? What do you usually do on Sundays? Do you often go to the park? What do you see in the park? C Revision 活动: 哑剧表演---教师让学生上台模拟一些动作,如 sing, dance, jump, pass, kick, catch, ... 在表演的过程中,教师可逐步渗透What does this mean? It means ... 让学生在游戏的气氛中运用What does this mean? 及其回答。 D Presentation and practice 1. 接着上述游戏,教师分别拿出三个公共标志牌: Look, what's this? It's a public sign. What does it mean? It means "Danger". 同样方法引出Keep off the grass. Keep quite. 学习词汇 a sign, a public sign, danger, keep off the grass, keep quiet 此处生词较多,教师应多示范朗读,以帮助学生掌握生词和句子,然后教师将这三个公用标志牌贴在黑板上。 2. 教师:Look, there are a lot of signs here. They are public signs. They mean different things.教师在描述时放慢语速,利用手势让学生理解这几句话,然后教师指着一个标志牌问:What does this mean? 启发学生:It means "Danger"/ "Keep off the grass"/ "Keep quite". 3. 教师出示投影,看图介绍课文场景:Look, this is a park. Who's in the park? Listen.让学生听录音,然后教师提问:Who are the boys? How old is Jack? What can Jack see in the park? What are Ben and Jack talking about? 帮助学生了解对话的背景。 4. 教师出示公园内“建筑物”“草地”“鸟笼”,要求学生听课文录音, 并根据所听内容,找到黑板上相应的公用标志牌,将其贴在合适的位置。通过这一活动,帮助学生整体理解对话内容。 D Practice and consolidation练习和巩固 1. 学生听对话全文,模仿正确的语音语调,学说对话。 2. 学生分组分角色朗读,教师巡视并给予个别辅导。 3. 在熟读课文的基础上,教师可引导学生以Jack的口吻讲述他在公园内的所见,尤其是对公共标志牌的了解,使学生能熟练掌握课文内容。 4. 学生分组完成本课对话后的填空练习,教师给予反馈及评价。 E Assign homework 1. 听本课对话的录音,用正确的语音语调朗读本课课文,并能够在小组内进行表演。 2. 给教室设计一些标志牌。 板书设计: Unit 1 Public signs What does this mean?
