2 能了解更多关于职业类的单词。

3 能正确使用英语和同伴讨论梦想,并用英语写出梦想和实现梦想的计划。

Teaching procedures教学过程:

Step1 Free talk

T: Do you like stories? First, let’s enjoy a short story.

A man wants to live a rich life. One day, he sees God. He is very happy. He asks God How to live a rich life? God smiles and says  You need to have d-p-s The man was surprised.

T: What is the d-p-s?

S guess and talk.

 

Step2 Lets think

T: The first d means we need to have a dream.

To have a dream, we have to think a few questions.

Q: What do you?

Q: What do you?

T writes the two questions on the blackboard.

 

Step3 Grammar time

T asks one student to answer the two questions.

Q: What do you want to be in the future?

Q: What do you want to do in the future?

T: As you see, to answer the first question, we have to tell about the jobs.

To answer the second question, we have to tell about the things to do.

 

Step4 Brainstorming

T: What jobs do you know? Lets review the jobs we have learned.

T: You can see five numbers here. They mean five groups.

When you see the picture on the number, please stand up and say the job out.

【复习展示】

教师提供图片,要求学生以小组形式根据图片出现的位置进行回答。图片出现在不同的数字上,不同数字对应的小组成员集体回答。这项活动主要是为了帮助学生复习之前所学的有关职业的词汇。

 

Step5 Guess and match

T: I’m happy you remember the jobs we have learned.

Now we are going to learn more new jobs.

Can you read them?

T teach new jobs: singer, reporter, actor, scientist/

T: Now take out your paper try to finish the matching by yourself.

And then talk in the group what they mean.

After the group talk, students give a report.

Step6 Do a survey

T: Wonderful! You know so many jobs now.

Whats your dream in the future?

Lets do a survey in the group.

There is a form on your paper.

Each one has to ask questions:

What do you want to be in the future?

What do you want to do in the future?

One student writes the answer.

One student is going to tell us the answer in the group.

S give a report.

In our group, students want to be

【调查展示】

学生以小组为单位完成调查表格,每人轮流提问两个有关梦想的问题,组内推选一人记录组员回答,一人负责向全班汇报调查结果。这个环节主要帮助学生在调查记录的活动任务中学会用英语谈论职业梦想。

 

Step6 Learn and find out

T: We have known d means to have a dream.

And what does the p mean?

T: It means we need to have a plan.

You know, great people all have a good plan.

T: Read the stories, you will know more.

And after reading, please try to fill into the blanks and tell others what plan they had.

Students shared the stories in class about Edison, Leonardo Da Vinci and Jackie Chan.

 

Step7 Think and write

T: From these stories, we know plans are very important.

Now think of a question:

How to make your dream come true?

Please make a plan.

【写作展示】

学生完成一篇作文:My dream,写下自己的职业梦想和相应的计划。可以通过小组讨论的方式互帮互助。完成写作后,在全班面前展示自己的作品。

 

Step8 The end

T: The last thing we need, what is it?

T: We need to have a spirit.

That means you are not afraid of failure. You can keep working hard.

I have some advise for you.

You can find a model to help you keep working hard.

You can stick a picture of him, like Edison, Leonardo Da Vinci, Jackie Chan or someone else.

You can put the paper somewhere you can see easily.

T: I hope the d-p-s can help you live a rich and wonderful life.

 

Homework:

1 Read the new words and remember them.

2 Read more stories about great men and share their stories in class.
